Let's talk about...Growing up!
Hey loves! I'm posting something a little different today, its something I wasn't going to share with you initially but I've changed my mind because you guys are all so lovely. So I mentioned that I love cooking, drawing, and all the other girly stuff that it says in my About Me but I never mentioned that I live on a farm and the closest city is about an hour and twenty minutes away. I find it quite funny because most blogs that I read are all based in the city and then here's me; the little farm girl from the west coast of New Zealand (lol).
One of the reasons why I started a blog was to share my thoughts and views on life, what I love doing, and also to take away the stress and anxiety of growing up. On this blog I feel as though I can be myself and actually be the person who I would like to be that is tucked away inside of me. When your about five or six no one really cares about who wears what and what they do, but when you get to the age of being fourteen or fifteen its not only the stress that comes with schoolwork its also the fact that if you wore something different compared to what everyone one else is wearing to school then boom you get judged so much. I hate the way that society has developed, like we should be building each other up to become strong young woman and men, but sadly we are putting each other down and making that other person feel terrible about ourselves. Another thing that really annoys me is when a girl starts hating on another girl just because they have the same crush, like honestly that is so so so stupid that girls put a boy that might not even be worth it first.
These pictures are of me and my pony Smith, who I absolutely love!
When I got to intermediate (middle school) I started to get bullied a little about being a Horsey Girl and people looked at it as a bad thing as being a horse so I started saying that I don't have a horse anymore and/or I don't like horses to everybody and within a few weeks it had all stopped completely and then people started mocking me about my pimples! :'(
It feels so good to let that out, these were just a few of my opinions that I have on society and how it is turned into something ugly that needs to be made beautiful. So next time if your friends aren't saying nice things about someone else on how they appear don't join in, speak up and say something nice about that person. You are all beautiful and don't forget that, and be the person that you actually want to be!
Have you ever been bullied? and what do you hate the most about growing up and/or society? Leave an answer in the comments.
